December’s Theme:
Cozy Winter Senses
This month, your child will experience the sights and sounds of winter. They will create a drum, a dance ribbon wand, and a pretend piano. Outside, they will look for sounds and sights in nature, like the hoot of an owl and the sound of cracking ice. Indoors, they will discover familiar sounds, such as a whistling teapot and the crunch of cookies. The month will wrap up with exploring light and dark during the short winter days, including what lights up the night sky and what creates shadows. It’s a fun month of sensory exploration.
Creative Minds Learning Experience
Your child will engage in monthly seasonal themes supplemented by Experience Early Learning to motivate their engagement of social-emotional and academic learning. Each month your child will strengthen their development as a learner and classmate.
