About Us
Creative Minds is a learning space dedicated to developing your earliest learner as they embark on their academic journey. Our vision is to provide and nurture safe learning environments for children to create, learn and grow in their academic, cognitive, social-emotional and physical capacities.
We off a unique opportunity for you to be an active partner in your child’s education without having to volunteer hours in the classroom. Together we will set goals, monitor growth and maintain communication to ensure your child’s progression as they prepare for their journey as a learner. You will also learn how to effectively advocate for your child and become well-versed in how to navigate the educational system with confidence. Communication is key!
Creative Minds weaves current research-based best teaching practices, curriculum and intentionally designed opportunities developed by experienced early education teachers to maximize your child’s experience as they develop as a learner. Experience Early Learning
This curriculum aligns to NAEYC, Head Start and Common Core Standards of Washington state.
Monthly Themes
Engage in research-based activities and nationally recognized curriculum to ensure age-appropriate development in their academic, social-emotional and physical capacities that encompass the whole child. Our program is enhanced by a local artist who intentionally creates resources for your child to express their creativity as a way to ensure retention and recall of their academic experiences.
Family Support
Your family will receive support in how to advocate for your child, establish healthy lines of communication with family and school, what to do if you notice your child needs community supports, and most importantly, how to foster a positive relationship with your child’s teacher to ensure a successful school year from the very start. We will research opportunities for school visits, communicate upcoming events, and offer guidance as they graduate pre-k and head off to elementary.
